We didn't want to get married in a church, but the town hall seemed too impersonal, so adding a secular ceremony felt like the natural choice. Finding a ceremony officiant could have been difficult, but when Aurelie came to meet us at our home, the choice was obvious. Neither of us knew anything about secular ceremonies, so we let Aur\u00e9lie guide us. We fell in love with Aur\u00e9lie as soon as we met her.\nfirst meeting. She was extremely serious and organised, so we felt confident in entrusting her with the ceremony, we were not mistaken, she succeeds with perfection!<\/p>

Throughout the preparations, Aur\u00e9lie guided us in our choices providing her expertise and taking into account our personalities, which she understood very well. So she\nproposed several variations of rituals, helping us to write our vows and\nour wishes and did a lot of research based on our desires without imposing anything. When we decided to have a secular ceremony for our wedding, we were stepping into the unknown.
Neither of us had ever been to this kind of ceremony before, and we were a bit lost. The only thing we were sure of was that we didn't want the ceremony to have that \u2018kitsch\u2019 American wedding feel (at least the ones we saw in films and American TV series: witnesses all dressed the same, the mother-in-law in candy pink, the bride in a meringue dress and endless schmaltz \u2013 not for us!).
A little hesitant, we met Aur\u00e9lie and immediately felt reassured and very comfortable.
The connection was excellent and we quickly felt that we could trust her.\nNot only is Aur\u00e9lie an expert in her field, but she is also an incredible listener. She simply guided us without ever imposing anything.
The first few weeks were spent giving her material so that she could get to know us and build a ceremony that reflected who we are. We had to open up a little, but the legitimate apprehension of this kind of exercise quickly gave way to a pleasant exchange where we felt listened to.
The weeks flew by, the practical details and organisation were handled in a very professional manner, and then the big day arrived.

When we decided to choose a secular ceremony for our wedding, we were stepping into the unknown.
Neither of us had ever attended this kind of ceremony and we were a bit lost. The only thing we were sure of was that we didn't want the ceremony to have that \u2018kitsch\u2019 aspect of American-style weddings (at least the ones we see in American films or TV series: the witnesses all dressed the same, the mother-in-law in candy pink, the bride in meringue and marshmallow galore, not for us!).
A little hesitant, we met Aur\u00e9lie and immediately felt reassured and at ease. The contact was excellent and we quickly felt that we could trust her.
