Wedding Celebrant

Welcome to my world!

My name is Aurélie, I am a professional celebrant.

This profession is not yet very well known in France. When I discovered it at the beginning of the 2010s, it was obvious to me, a revelation, because my whole career path seemed to lead me there.

Both a lover of words and a geek,I have a background in computational linguistics, during which I worked in the world of artificial intelligence, in a multilingual environment. This is why I enjoy writing unique ceremonies for, you in one or more languages.

An artist at heart, I practise and draw inspiration from theatre, music and dance. To me, sentences are melodies and I can spend hours contemplating beautiful lines or colour palettes, whether natural or architectural. When I design your ceremony, achieving harmony of the senses is one of my priorities as this contributes to its depth and emotional impact.

As a happy mother of two extra-ordinary teens, I have a life rich in discoveries, challenges, surprises and, most importantly, laughter. Living with them has taught me both to let go and to understand that I wanted to put people at the centre of my priorities. I realised that I wanted to give something to others, to discover their stories, and to understand how life brings us together and intertwines our destinies. I like to understand how each story is part of the History that binds us all, to listen to the words you choose to tell me all this, to let myself be surprised by the happy coincidences that punctuate your lives.

In 2016, I left Paris (Versailles to be precise) to settle with my family in the beautiful city of Bordeaux. Since then, I have travelled its roads and rivers, between beaches, pine forests and vineyards. Having been adopted and won over by the Bordeaux region, I love helping people who choose it as their wedding venue to discover it.

Accompanying you in the great moments of your life, giving them meaning and revealing their beauty, is for me a natural thing, a vocation.

‘The ceremony is not just words on the wedding day, it is an experience of life, an atmosphere, a canvas, a melody.’
