Sabrina and Sébastien live in the Paris region but have fulfilled the dream of many couples: getting married during a ceremony facing the ocean. It was understandably that they chose the beach of Verdon-sur-mer, where they already have fond memories. They invited family and friends to share this special moment while enjoying this fantastic setting for a weekend.
Some highlights:
- The arrival of the guests and the discovery of the setting for the ceremony: as they walked down the dune, they discovered the arch, the chairs and the central aisle decorated with flowers, with the ocean as a backdrop background.
- The ritual shared with Sabrina and Sébastien's children. A great moment for the family.
- The humorous and revealing speeches by the witnesses
- The participatory ritual of the time capsule with wine which mobilised everyone's attention: we can't wait for the cotton wedding so that the bride and groom can discover all the messages that we sealed in the box, with the wine.
- The exchange of rings and vows: the intensity of the groom and bride's gazes for one another <3
The service providers who accompanied me at this ceremony:
- The photographers: Lionel Simon and Léa from Io-Studio
- To be discovered when the montage is released.
- The decoration: the arch, the flowers and the large white carpet for the ceremony were provided by the bride and groom themselves because event decoration is their job! It is for this reason that I have included in the slideshow below photos of the decoration at their reception so that you can enjoy them. Don't hesitate to call on them for your events (Euro Decors Agency, and you can contact me too for more information, I will be happy to pass it on to them).
- I took care of the sound system and the installation of the decoration, but given the size of the task, I called on Christelle Guégan, who brought me her biceps, her energy and her beautiful smile. I would like to thank her warmly for her invaluable help! Don't hesitate to visit her website, she is an excellent wedding planner (click here).
And finally, a very special thank you to the bride and groom who challenged me by giving me a ceremony to organise in just a few weeks, and who , for that, made me part of their family and very generously shared their story with me.
