Wedding Celebrant

Love on the beach

On a sunny day in June, Stéphanie and Frédéric got married for life, with their feet in the sand and facing the ocean. Surprise and emotion were the watchwords of the ceremony! They influenced all the decisions and preparations for the ceremony. Making it both magical and romantic. It's love at the beach... As you read on, you'll discover a wedding that could inspire you to plan your own!

The big surprises of the ceremony

  • - The location of the ceremony: The guests didn't know where the ceremony would take place, or even what the festivities would be. A procession was organised from a meeting point to the terrace of La Petite PlayaTheir eyes were already full of stars.

  • The arrival of the bride and groom: I greeted the guests, surprised not to find the bride and groom. Where were they? What were they doing? Everyone settled down to face the beach for the ceremony. Suddenly, some of the guests realised that the boat arriving in the distance was carrying Frédéric, the groom. He docked and joined his guests to greet his beautiful bride shortly afterwards. The arrival of the boat was like something out of a fairytale, for a magical moment with your feet in the sand.

  • Exchanging Brazilian bracelets: the ceremony having been postponed because of Covid, the couple had already had a civil union a year earlier, exchanging rings. So, as a symbolic act, the bride and groom exchanged Brazilian bracelets. This ritual, based on an exotic tradition, is rich in meaning: preparing in advance the bracelet to give to the loved one, symbolising the bonds that unite you and putting on it the values they hold dear.

  • The songs: the bride and groom wanted to surprise their guests by enlivening their ceremony with a song performed by a friend. But they didn't expect to be surprised themselves. In fact, they were very moved when they saw that she had come accompanied by someone they hadn't seen for a long time. Their two voices, warm and harmonious, struck a chord with all the guests.

A team that took care of everything

I would like to thank the service providers who made this wedding such a success:

And a huge thank you to Stéphanie and Frédéric, who opened the doors of their world to me and allowed me to celebrate their love at the beach. Their many ideas led us into brainstorms that were both productive and (very) entertaining.
