Valérie and David have known each other for many years. They have been through the years, growing up together hand in hand. And then they decided to mark their commitment and their love in a formal and public way by getting married.
The advantage of knowing each other so well is that they knew exactly what they wanted (and what they didn't want!) so we built the ceremony according to their deepest desires, with the sole aim of creating a wedding that perfectly reflected their personalities and their story.
Some highlights
- The surprise of the guests: they were expecting a religious ceremony in the church right next door... they were amazed to discover the symbolic ceremony in the estate's park 🙂.
- The surprise for the bride-to-be: to please the love of his life, the groom had arranged for a gospel group to perform, unbeknownst to his bride. She had prepared a playlist for the DJ to play, but the musical programme was completely different, performed entirely by the group.
- The ritual of the wishing tree: the witnesses and the children of the bride and groom hung everyone's wishes on a magnificent tree with drooping branches. We had chosen the layout of the ceremony in the park around this tree, it really added a beautiful energy and a bucolic feel to the ceremony.
The wonderful team of vendors who accompanied me on this ceremony (a big thank you to them!):
- The photographer: Philippe Castex
- The Bordeaux Gospel group: Louons l’éternel
- The DJ who managed the sound system for the speeches so well: Manu from Concept Son.
- The floral decoration: by the bride and groom and arranged by me.
I would particularly like to thank Valérie and David for their trust and for all the time spent visiting the Blayes and Bourg hillsides.
