When you think of a wedding, you think of a dress, a bouquet and high heels. But are high heels really a good idea? Still hesitating? Here are 15 good reasons not to wear heels on your wedding day:
- You won't sink into the grass or gravel (yes, there are solutions for customising heels to remedy this problem, but it will distort your shoes)
- you can't see the shoes under the long dress, so why bother?
- Shoes are not just for walking, we put a little bit of our personality into our shoes, so get a pair that suits you: Converse, flip-flops, ballerina flats, sandals, flippers...

- To avoid having feet like Strasbourg sausages
- To significantly reduce the risk of sprains
- To descend steps with dignity
- To run across fields for the photo shoot
- What if we also did a crazy pose where we all jump in the air? -> without your heels, you will be ready to strike the crazy poses suggested by your witnesses/bridesmaids or groomsmen/photographer...

- You never wear heels? So why start today, your wedding should be like you, right?
- To dance any kind of dance (because jumping in heels is a pain)
- So you don't have to take your shoes off under the table
- ...and not be able to put them back on when you get up

- To avoid hanging your dress on your heel and getting it dirty/tearing it/falling like a pancake or scratching the unnecessary mention.
- To avoid wasting time training to walk in heels...and stressing because you're not ready.
- To avoid giving an additional weapon to the bridezilla that lies dormant within you (a mixture of sweet and feverish bride and touchy and bloodthirsty Godzilla): hitting someone with a ballet shoe will have less of an impact than with a high heel.
