Wedding inspiration: ‘The perfect blend’

After weeks of lockdown and then weeks of waiting for authorisation, weddings can once again be celebrated. A return to our roots, to sharing with loved ones, to looking to the future. As wedding professionals, we wanted to celebrate this renewal by imagining the perfect combination, one that would result from the pooling of our creative minds focused on the elegance and rustic charm of the legendary Saint Emilion.

The setting: the elegance of Château Fombrauge

It is always with great pleasure (and a feeling of privilege) that I visit one of Mr Bernard Magrez's estates. You may have already seenone of my ceremonies at Château Pape Clément (Pessac) or my participation in acollaborative project with a bohemian theme at Château Fombrauge.

But this time, there is only one watchword: ELEGANCE..

From tableware to floral design, from outfits to hairstyles, each element brings its harmonious colours, clean lines and symbolism. Each service was carefully assembled thanks to the work of the wedding planner to create the perfect blend. I'll let you discover the universe created:

The ceremony: the couple is a perfect blend

A couple is like a blended wine, each bringing their own touch of sweetness, depth and acidity to create a great vintage. And over time, the couple improves, becomes stronger and enriches their palette of experiences and emotions.

Wine is therefore a perfect symbol for a couple and a way of giving a nod to the famous venue chosen to host this wedding. That is why, as a ritual of union, the bride and groom are invited to drink three sips together, making three wishes and symbolising the past, the present and the future.

To seal their union, they made one final vow with their fingers crossed, followed by the exchange of rings, a lasting reminder of this beautiful day and the promises they shared.
